REAL Service Awards Intro

The REAL Service Awards is a program that was initiated in 2008 by Cochise County to recognize and reward employees who perform exemplary service outside of the normal function of their jobs.
Although the reasons for receiving the award vary, all recipients of the REAL Service Award have raised the standard of service for all Cochise County Employees.
The recipients to date are listed below.

Terry E. Couchenour	"Going above and beyond his job duties to undertake the creation of a new set of County Maintained Road System Maps to meet the needs of the Highways Department and Cochise County citizens."
Simona La Motte	"For excellence in service and for providing a role model for recycling efforts in Cochise County Government."
Victor Lopez &Weston Ress	"Performing CPR on an infant who was no longer breathing."
Lois Klein,Darlene Loper, Glenda Nugent	“In recognition of the extraordinary efforts to resolve issues raised in the March 2009 IRS Audit, resulting in reduction of penalties to the County in the amount of $105,171.”

Patricia Morris	“Your foresight and commitment to acquire historical road rights-of-way in Cochise County resulting in financial savings of several hundreds of thousands and securing the legal rights to County roadways.”
Michael J. Clark	“Exemplary performance in managing the receipt, and disposal/sale of county surplus property, which resulted in sales revenue of approximately $6,000.”
Charles “Rob” Enriquez	“For exemplary service to the County of Cochise, maintaining a high standard of commitment to safeguarding the public roads, and for enhancing the image of government in the eyes of the citizens and coworkers, we hereby express our sincere appreciation.”
John Forrey, James Montoya	“For exceptional service, project management and customer service to the citizens of Cochise County by developing an ADA Compliance Inspection Program to ensure safe, universal access to county polling places on Election Day.”
Randy Streeter	“Employing extraordinary measure to recover the county’s AS400 automatic financial system when it crashed by solely rebuilding the system from scratch.”
