Tobacco & Chronic Disease Prevention
The Tobacco & Chronic Disease Prevention (TCDP) Division is a comprehensive prevention and education program that addresses tobacco and chronic disease conditions. Our Tobacco Prevention Services include the reduction of tobacco use with our youth, and referral assistance to any adult County resident who wants to quit using tobacco. Our Chronic Disease Prevention - Healthy Living Program is designed for people who have risk factors for chronic disease, including heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. We help adults prevent or manage a chronic condition.
All 15 Arizona counties are funded by State collected tobacco tax revenues and administered by the Airzona Department of Health Services (ADHS), Bureau of Tobacco and Chronic Disease (BTCD) so that we can collaboratively work to reduce tobacco use and improve the well being of all residents.
