Ann English, District 2 County Supervisor

Biography
Chairman Ann English is a former superintendent and teacher with over 20 years of school district experience within Cochise County. She is also a member of the Cochise County Board of Health, Southeast Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) Executive Committee, and the Arizona-Mexico Commission. Ann English has served on the Cochise County Board of Supervisors twice: 1985-1992 and 2009-present.
An Arkansas native, English received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from New Mexico State University and also earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
Ann English’s former roles also include:
- Public Safety Retirement Board, and Correction Officers Retirement Board
- President of Arizona Supervisors, 1991
- Arizona Criminal Justice Commission – appointed by Gov. Rose Mofford
- And former realtor for Sulphur Springs Realty and Bisbee Realty
Ann English is married to Pat English, and they have three children and four grandchildren.
