Early Voting Deadlines: Last Chance to Request a Primary Election Mailed Ballot

The deadline to request a mailed ballot for the Primary Election is Friday, July 22, 2022. If you’re a registered voter and have not yet received your mailed ballot, you may want to review the status of your ballot at my.arizona.vote.  

Voters registered as Independent, Other, or Party Not Designated who are on the active-early voting list and did not receive a ballot by mail, must inform the Recorder’s Office which party ballot style they wish to receive. These voters may select either a Republican or Democratic ballot only. 

In-person early voting for the Primary Election is open until Friday, July 29, 2022. Voters may vote in person during business hours at the Recorder’s Office on Melody Lane. 

Voters may also drop off their early ballot at one of the secure ballot drop-off boxes located throughout Cochise County. Voters have until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1 to drop off their early ballot. Ballot drop-off box locations and hours can be found at www.cochise.az.gov/509/Voter-Information

The Primary Election is on August 2, 2022. Vote Centers will be open on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eligible voters may cast their vote on Election Day at any of the 17 Vote Centers within Cochise County. Voters may also drop off their voted early ballot at any of the Vote Centers on Election Day. Voted ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
